On Saturday, in a club first, Toby Graham became the 3rd generation of the Graham family to play for Barnes RFC senior men's sides, following Dougal (1965-86), and Gus (1992-2023).
In his senior debut, Toby Graham was cheered on by dad, Gus, and taped up by sister Poly, a club Physio! Toby played a big role in a thrilling cup win for the Outriders (Men's 3rd XV) versus Battersea Ironsides, turning around an away loss earlier this season. We wish Toby a long Barnes RFC career. He's got a long way to go to beat the 600+ representative appearances Gus racked up over the course of 31 years playing for the club!
To round-up the family contribution to the club, Polly's boyfriend Caelan Stanton won man of the match in a thumping 52-5 win for Barnes 1st XV over Oxford Harlequins.
With family heritage linking back to the Graham’s Port House, it’s the perfect time for Toby to join the Outriders. Following the huge success of the "Sherry the Love" tour to Seville last year for the U23s, this season's Outriders Tour is to Lisbon !
