I have the sad news of the passing of Tim Chapman, our 1959 captain.

He battled the big C for the last few years and although gave it a bloody nose succumbed peacefully in his sleep last weekend.

He was a lifelong "rugby man" and I felt it important that we should know of his passing.

Tim visited the club to watch his last game at Barnes Rugby Club 3 years ago.

On behalf of the club we pass on our love and condolences to the family.

The funeral is on Thursday 11th December at 2.15 pm at Crawley crematorium followed by light refreshments at East Grinstead rugby club.
