Christmas is a time of relaxation, laughter and love, and whatever faith we choose in our lives, it is a time to reflect on the year just gone, and the year ahead.

On behalf of Barnes Rugby, I want to wish you a wonderful festive season, full of fun, laughter and joy as we relax in the warmth of our families, or whoever you are with.

Please also spare a thought for those who find themselves alone at this time, or for whom Christmas is a tough time because of lost loved one. All it takes is one call, one hug or one smile to make that person's day and cheer them up.

Lat week we lost in the last minute away at Henley 24-21, a gutting way to end 2025, but
our first game of 2026 kicks off on 3rd January at Richmond as our Under 23’s reform to play in their traditional triangular tournament, kicking off at 2pm, let’s all get down and support them!

On the 10th January, Barnes Men’s 1st XV resume their fierce rivalry against Dorking at Barn Elms that promises to be another cracker in our recent history of crackers against Dorking.
