Christmas is a time of relaxation, laughter and love, and whatever faith we choose in our lives, it is a time to reflect on the year just gone and the year ahead.

On behalf of Barnes Rugby, I want to wish you a wonderful festive season, full of fun, laughter and joy as we relax in the warmth of our families, or wherever you are.

Please also spare a thought for those who find themselves alone at this time, or for whom Christmas is a tough time because of lost loved one. All it takes is one call, one hug or one smile to make that person's day and cheer them up.
