As the excitement builds to the Women’s Rugby World Cup Final this weekend, we’d like to salute the Red Roses, past and present, for their contribution to community rugby.

Over recent years, Meg Jones, Sarah Hunter, Natasha “Mo” Hunt, and Abbie Brown have all shared their expertise and experiences with boys and girls at Barnes Rugby. Meg Jones has also coached Barnes Women and helped introduce many local school kids to rugby through the famous Friday Floodlit Festival series.

All of us at Barnes Rugby wish the Red Roses the very best of luck in the RWC2025 final. Go for it!
