Heavies hard to handle

Sometimes it's not the preparation which matters, but how you respond to the present.
At first we responded very well and opened the scoring with a well worked try seeing Russ score in perfect style, though soon after Heavies replied with their try....7 all.
Again another well worked try had Morgs go over for us and yet again Heavies replied.....14 all and half time.
With a few changes we were soon sucked into Heavies game style where we were simply out muscled and frankly out played by a team which posses a very savvy approach to the way they control the game.
Heavies rightly deserve the respect we have for them, but every defeat is an insight in how to beat them.....we will.....one day!

The squad which excelled in every way was:

Forwards: Jerry, Ed, JC, Sheds, Skips, Big Al, Spence, Beans, Deano, Codo,
Backs: Gus, Springy, Frodo, Marek, Cris, Morgs, Russ, Jose, A’fer, Slatts.
