BARNES RFC SOCIAL EVENTS FOR THE SEASON 2011/12  -  NOT TO BE MISSED

Saturday 10th December 2011– Barnes RFC Christmas Party

Fingers crossed we don’t face the same weather conditions as last December, which not only caused frozen pitches and cancelled games – it also took away the chance of our Christmas knees up at the clubhouse. A night of fun and frolics – so keep your diary free. Watch out for posters put up in the clubhouse as the date of the event approaches.

Saturday 14th January 2012 – Vets Reunion Lunch

This event is always a big sellout, bringing together the slightly older players of the club as well as ex- players. A truly great lunch, with guest speaker our old friend Barry Williams  followed by the Barnes RFC 1st team taking on Hertford in a National Two South division match.

Tickets are £30 each and include lunch and wine.

Friday 16th March 2012 - City Lunch

Always a massive day, which enviably turns into a massive night! This is the club’s main fund raising event, so a great opportunity to bring along possible future sponsors or anyone interested in getting involved with the club.

This year the props amongst you will be delighted to know that we have Gareth Chilcott as our main speaker so book early! 

Tickets are £100 each and tables are £1000 (tables of 10) - there is an early booking discount of £950 if 50% is paid by 31st Decmber)

The Barnes RFC Ball – possibly June 2012

The date and details are yet to be confirmed for this great end of season event but likely to be in June 2012 and back at Twickenham, after two successful years there.

If you want lunch at a Saturday home game then you need to book early, it will be a sumptuos affairt kicing off at 12:30pm in the cliubhouse and prices have been frozen at only £20 per head.

Barnes Rugby Club has various social events throughout the year.

Apart form our world famous tours ( we went to Cape Town in 2007 with 60 players) we held our inaugural Sportsman's Dinner with guest speakers Martin Bayfiled and Mike Catt in attendance.
