The voice of the players is important to ensure that the club grows on and off the field. A senior players group has been formed with this remit for the coming season.
They will meet once a month and discuss what is going well and what is not and report back to Brett Taylor with requests or issues that need to be addressed. In the same way the committee / coaches may ask this group to work with the players to ensure certain club requirements are fulfilled or get feedback on a proposed idea.
Sometimes players do not confront issues head on with coaches or management and it is hoped that this group will allow players express their views and opinions whether they be positive or negative with the group safe in the knowledge that the information will be passed on to Brett Taylor and the Barnes committee in complete confidence.
The character of the players makes a club and it is hoped that the senior players group will allow the players to be heard more accurately and ensure the club grows from strength the strength.
