From September 12 to 29, 2014 up to 1 million tickets will go on general sale for the 48 Rugby World Cup 2015 matches taking place

HOW TO APPLY FOR TICKETS
General Information
Rugby World Cup 2015 tickets will go on general sale from September 12 – 29, 2014 and customers can apply for tickets for any of the 48 matches during this window.

This will not be a first come, first served sale, so there is no advantage to be gained by applying on the first day rather than the last, though we recommend not leaving it until the last minute.

Where matches are oversubscribed we will run a ballot by match, and by price category, so that all tickets are fairly allocated. We will ballot starting from the most oversubscribed match down to the least oversubscribed match to ensure that everyone who applies has the best possible opportunity to be successful.

When selecting a match, you can tell us if you have an accessibility requirement and if you require a wheelchair space you will receive a complimentary personal assistant seat. If you are also applying on behalf of family or friends we will endeavour to seat them as close to your wheelchair space or accessible seat as possible.

Five steps to help you submit your application:

1. Create Your Account

In order to apply for tickets, you will need to create and activate an account here :-----

3. Special features to look out for
Look out for these two special features that could help you to secure your tickets for Rugby World Cup 2015.

Match Manager
Your application tells us which matches you want to attend, but you can use the Match Manager tool to tell us the maximum number of matches you are willing to purchase through the ballot. Our aim is to help you to apply for as many matches as you would like while also managing your potential spend. For example, you can select 20 matches but set the Match Manager to five matches. This tells us to allocate you no more than five of the 20 matches you have applied for. Once your Match Manager cap is hit, we will not allocate any more matches. Please note that use of Match Manager is optional.
Increase Your Chances
Opt to ‘Increase Your Chances’ when you apply and if the price category you have selected for a particular match is oversubscribed then we can allocate you tickets for the next highest price category.

4. Payment, Delivery, and optional “Tackle Hunger” donation
Please take time to consider an optional donation to Rugby World Cup 2015’s official charity, the UN World Food Programme ‘Tackle Hunger’. The IRB launched this programme at Rugby World Cup 2003, and it helps to feed nearly 100 million people each year. We will only collect your donation if you’re successful in the ballot.

Use of a MasterCard to purchase tickets will incur no transaction charges. A 2% transaction charge will apply for all other credit card payments. Debit card payments do not incur any charges, and there are no booking fees for RWC 2015 tickets.

Please check that your billing/delivery address is correct. Postage charges apply according to the delivery address – UK £5, Europe £15, and the Rest of the World £20.

We will not charge your card until we have completed the ballot and confirmed to you that your application has been successful. All applicants will be notified in October 2014.

5. Submit Application
When you have completed your application, click on Submit Application. You can amend your application after you have submitted it, or withdraw it completely, any time during the general ticket sale window from September 12 – 29. We advise you that you complete all amendments by Sunday September 28.
