I haven't asked for charitable donations before but this is a great charity - and a great event - abseiling into Twickenham Stadium.

Our Royal Marines face great danger, risking injury and even death on behalf of their country. The Commando Spirit Appeal exists because our Royal Marines put their lives on the line for us and when they need help, we want to ensure they get it.

The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund helps Royal Marines and their families when they need it most. They aid the wounded and injured. They give quality of life to those returning from operations. And when the worst happens, they support the families of those who die in service.

That is why the Commando Spirit Appeal is raising funds on behalf of the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund
