On Saturday a group of lads from Barnes RFC's Under 13 squad had an amazing experience, they were coached by England Coach Eddie Jones and 2003 Worl Cup Winner and England legend Will Greenwood.

In roasting sunshine, on the hottest day of the year so far, the boys trained on the pitches at England's home from home at Pennyhill Park, where, in a few weeks time, the final England squad of 31 players will begin their quest for a second world cup win.

It was an amazing morning and the club is incredibly grateful for the time given up by Eddie and Will when they are both so busy preparing for the oncoming Rugby World Cup in Japan.

I hope that the boys were inspired by their time with Eddie and WIll and from this group will emerge future Barnes 1st XV players, Premiership players or even International players.

Whatever level they play at, be it 1st XV or just for fun, may they always play in the original spirit we hold so dear at Barnes RFC!
