Former All Black captain, Sean Fitzpatrick, presented Barnes 2nd XV with the winners trophy for winning the Shield 2nd Division South League. Julius To'o, Chris Bryant, Tom "Frank" McArthur and Paul Spencer attended the awards at the East India Club.

Next year's league will be a huge step up and will challenge the entire club. The content of the league was confirmed recently with Barnes playing home and away against the following teams: Old Albanians, London Scottish Highlanders, Richmond Vikings, Jersey Athletic, Blackheath Heathens, Ealing Trailfinders A, Esher Cardinals, Cinderford, Ampthill, Barnes, Henley Bulls and Worthing.
