Barnes Development XV

2011/2012 Season

The 2010-11 season saw all six teams at Barnes excelling in commitment and success on the field, and especially in the former 3rd XV, with some sure stalwarts getting involved with our flowing style of rugby – as well as off-field activities

The 1st XV being promoted once again rang true through all of the senior teams, with all pushing for places and putting in some excellent performances, displaying the huge amount of skill and natural ability flowing throughout the club

Now, with the 2011/12 season upon us, we look to build on the foundations set by the former 3rd XV, with the introduction of a more vibrant, energetic Development Squad – welcoming those (both young and not-so-young) who enjoy high standards of rugby and want to be a part of our positive, collective ethos. With this added dimension on the senior squads, there promises to be a huge amount of competition for places, and an increase in the depth of players to choose from, with everyone wanting to achieve even more positives this season

As it was last season, the Development Squad is THE perfect squad as a gateway to this fantastic club, whether you’re aiming higher or simply like the social aspect! We’re always looking for more like-minded players, social spectators and fans to come and join in with the passion we have down here at Barne Elms, and I would be delighted if you would contact me via the mediums below
