Barnes Mini Rugby...

Yes, after many year's debating, we have decided that Barnes RFC needs to start a Mini's section for the 2008/2009 season.

We are going to start with Under 6's  through to Under 11's.

A unique feature of our approach to Mini's will be that we are going to train on a Saturday in Barnes between 9:30 amd and 11:30am so, unlike all of the other local rugby clubs who play on a Sunday monring, you will be able to have a lie in - which will either please your wife, husband/partner, or not, as the case may be!

Of course, most of the mini's tournaments are on Sunday but, with only 6 of those a year, we think that you (and your family) will appreciate the Barnes Saturday approach to Mini rugby.

Whilst we are still in the throws of setting this up we need lots and lots of volunteers - this includes:

• coaches
• dads and mums that want to help out
• players
• referees
• anyone who wants to get stuck in

The opportunity also exists for a main sponsor of the Minis section.
